On Sunday, October 1st, the Shrine celebrated the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. The days devotions began with Holy Mass, celebrated by Fr. Jose. This was followed by a procession around the church and veneration of our relics. After a break for lunch, Adoration and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy was prayed in the church, additional prayers outdoors at the Holy Stairs and the

Grant of the Plenary Indulgence
I am so happy to officially announce that the Holy See has granted a Plenary Indulgence to all pilgrims visiting the Shrine of St. Theresa of Lisieux, Harrisville, RI, as we are celebrating it’s Centennial Jubilee. The Plenary Indulgence can be obtained throughout the year from
May 18, 2023 to May 17, 2024.
Below is the decree document from the Apostolic Penitentiary in Rome granting this Plenary Indulgence, followed by it’s English translation.
