Shrine Confraternity

The charter for the Pious Union of Friends of St. Therese dates to the early 1930's. In some form or another, it has always existed at the Shrine. As part of our efforts to revive this organization we have created three units of the Pious Union. Please review the description of each below and prayerfully consider your level of participation. We hope to better serve our parish and move forward by going back to this historical structure.

The Confraternity is a voluntary association of laypeople dedicated to actively working and praying for the betterment of the Shrine. Confraternity members take on specific projects, support the works of the Shrine and to the best of their ability, spread devotion to St. Therese. The Mass Association is for those who wish to support the Shrine through prayer and actively spreading devotion to St. Thérèse. The Mass Association is for those who may not be able to take on the working requirements of Confraternity membership. Members agree to abide by the statutes of the ‘Pius Union of Friends of St. Thérèse’ to the b
The Mass Association is for those who wish to support the Shrine through prayer and actively spreading devotion to St. Thérèse. The Mass Association is for those who may not be able to take on the working requirements of Confraternity membership. Members agree to abide by the statutes of the ‘Pius Union of Friends of St. Thérèse’ to the best of their ability and wherever possible, conform their prayer life to that recommended in the original charter of this Union. Membership is renewable annually.

The Memorial Mass Association is for those who seek prayers for deceased members of their families, and others. Mass is said for enrollees on a monthly basis. Enrollment is renewable annually.
